The Dial features distinct larger Red Hour markers in the inner circle and the Black Minute markers in the outer circle. The shorter hour and longer minute hands correctly sweep over these distinct and bold markers. The double sunken construction of dial is also period correct. This dial configuration offered a precise reading of time to the nearest minute and was preferred by the trainmen working in the American railroads in circa 1900's. The classic 44 mm round stainless steel case compliments the design which is true to the era of classic American Railroad watches. The vintage look is further augmented by an independent seconds hand at 6 o’clock and the blued spade hands.
